Donation & Contribution Terms
For charitable contributions made through Pandi Now
Version 1.0 — Effective date: [DATE]
PANDI NOW
Pandi Now Inc. • Incorporated in Delaware, United States
These terms apply specifically to charitable contributions and donations made through the Pandi Now platform to initiatives operated under or affiliated with the Pandi Now Foundation. If you are making a venture investment in a for-profit initiative, these terms do not apply — refer to the Funder Platform Agreement and Investment & Risk Disclosure.
1. What a Contribution Is
A contribution or donation on the Pandi Now platform is a voluntary transfer of funds to support a charitable initiative. It is not an investment. You do not receive equity, financial returns, interest, or any ownership interest in exchange for your contribution.
By making a contribution, you acknowledge that you are not purchasing a product or service, and that your contribution is made as a gift in support of the stated mission of the initiative.
2. The Pandi Now Foundation
Charitable contributions are received and administered by the Pandi Now Foundation ("Foundation"), a nonprofit organization affiliated with Pandi Now Inc. The Foundation is responsible for receiving contributions, disbursing funds to initiatives in accordance with the Pandi Now Standard, and reporting on outcomes.
The legal structure and tax status of the Foundation is: [TO BE COMPLETED — insert Foundation's charitable registration details, EIN, and jurisdiction of registration]. Pandi Now Inc. does not receive charitable contributions directly.
3. Tax Deductibility
Pandi Now does not provide tax advice. Whether your contribution is tax-deductible depends on your jurisdiction, the Foundation's tax status in that jurisdiction, and your personal circumstances. You are responsible for determining the tax treatment of your contribution and should consult a qualified tax advisor.
For U.S. contributors: Contributions may be deductible as charitable contributions under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code if the Foundation holds that status. [Confirm Foundation's 501(c)(3) status before publishing].
For EU contributors: Tax deductibility varies significantly by member state. Pandi Now makes no representation about cross-border tax deductibility of charitable contributions.
4. How Contributions Are Used
Contributions are directed to the specific initiative you select at the time of giving. The Pandi Now Standard requires all initiatives to provide:
- A clear statement of what the contribution will fund
- A defined budget and timeline for the use of funds
- Milestone-based disbursement — funds are released in stages as verified progress is made
- Outcome reporting — results are documented and shared with contributors
Pandi Now does not use charitable contributions for its own operating expenses. Platform operating costs are funded separately through Pandi Now Inc.'s commercial operations.
5. Restricted vs. Unrestricted Contributions
Restricted Contributions
When you select a specific initiative at the time of giving, your contribution is restricted to that initiative. It will be used only for the stated purpose of that initiative.
Unrestricted Contributions
If you make a general contribution to the Pandi Now Foundation without selecting a specific initiative, your contribution is unrestricted and may be applied at the Foundation's discretion to any initiative that meets the Pandi Now Standard.
6. What Happens if an Initiative Fails or Is Cancelled
Pandi Now makes no guarantee that any initiative will be completed or will achieve its stated goals. If an initiative fails, is cancelled, or does not achieve its milestones, the following applies:
- Funds already disbursed to the initiative operator cannot be recovered by Pandi Now or returned to contributors
- Funds held by the Foundation that have not yet been disbursed will be redirected to a comparable initiative or returned to contributors at the Foundation's discretion
- Contributors will be notified of any material change in the status of an initiative they have supported
Contributions are not guaranteed and may not be refunded if an initiative fails after funds have been disbursed. Please read this carefully before contributing.
7. Refund Policy
Contributions are generally non-refundable once processed. Refunds may be considered in the following limited circumstances:
- A technical error resulted in a duplicate or incorrect charge — contact hi@pandinow.com within 14 days
- An initiative was cancelled before any funds were disbursed — refunds will be issued at the Foundation's discretion
- A contribution was made fraudulently using your payment details — contact your payment provider and hi@pandinow.com immediately
Refund requests should be submitted to hi@pandinow.com with the subject line "Contribution Refund Request" within 30 days of the contribution date. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of dissatisfaction with an initiative's outcomes after funds have been disbursed.
8. Reporting and Accountability
The Pandi Now Foundation is committed to transparency. Contributors will receive:
- Confirmation of their contribution at the time of giving
- Access to milestone updates and progress reports for initiatives they have supported
- An annual impact report summarizing outcomes across all initiatives
All outcome reporting is subject to the Pandi Now Standard and available through the contributor's account dashboard.
9. No Benefit in Exchange
No goods, services, or tangible benefits are provided in exchange for contributions. If Pandi Now or the Foundation provides any token acknowledgment (e.g. recognition on the platform, a thank-you message), this does not constitute a benefit for tax purposes. Consult your tax advisor for guidance on quid pro quo contributions.
10. Amendments
The Foundation reserves the right to update these Donation Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the platform for charitable contributions after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered contributors.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and applicable nonprofit law in the Foundation's jurisdiction of registration.
12. Contact
For questions about contributions, refunds, or the Foundation's operations, contact hi@pandinow.com with the subject line "Contribution Enquiry."
